KARA MACK: ASSISTANT CHOREOGRAPHER
Kara Mack is the African Dance Consultant for the film, Assisted in Choreography for the “African Homeland” scene, and was a dancer.
Invited by the “Queen of Tap” and the Artist-in-Residence at Yale University, Dormeshia Edwards invited Kara Mack to be faculty for the first-ever festival celebrating vernacular dance here in America. Kara taught a African Diasporic Movement Dance, Commercial Dance, and performed an original piece for a culminating faculty performance.
